Pacific Northwest Ballet invites you to celebrate the opening of the 2015-2016 season at First Look, an elegant evening of dining, music, and dance.

After a cocktail reception, enjoy the performance, then head backstage for an elegant black-tie dinner and auction featuring a costume parade of Ian Falconer’s designs for PNB’s new production of George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker^TM. The party continues with dessert, drinks, and dancing onstage.

This year's “Raise the Paddle”, which will be held during dinner, will support PNB’s innovative dance diversity program, DanceChance. DanceChance provides free training to partner Seattle Public School students with a talent for classical ballet. Through DanceChance, PNB seeks to increase diversity within the organization and throughout the ballet world by training and encouraging future dancers, audience members, and ballet advocates.
